Our Story Your backyard, built for
Our Full Story
Your backyard, built for
real life
Russell Pools & Landscapes has been transforming backyards across Lynchburg, Forest, Smith Mountain Lake, and Amherst since 2006. What started as a focused fiberglass pool installation company grew into a full outdoor living service, because homeowners kept asking for more. Today we handle everything from the pool to the patio, the retaining wall to the finished landscape.
We started this company with a simple belief: your backyard should be more than unused space. It should be a place where life actually happens. Too many families were managing three or four separate contractors just to get one cohesive outdoor space. We wanted to fix that by bringing the whole process under one roof.

How We Work
How We Work
We bring every part of your backyard project under one roof. Here is how a project moves from first call to finished space.
Reach Out
Call us or send a message to describe your backyard and what you want it to become. We listen first and ask about how your family uses the space.
On-Site Consultation
We visit your property to review the yard, slope, and drainage. We talk through design options so you understand what fits your space.
Build With One Team
Our crew handles the work from pool installation to retaining walls, hardscaping, and landscaping. You stay informed as each phase moves forward.
Final Walkthrough
We review the finished project with you, including finishing details and cleanup. We make sure you are satisfied before we close out the job.
We coordinate the full project so you are not managing multiple contractors. You review each stage and approve before we move forward.
